Minimum Requirements
Education: An advanced university degree is required in one of the following fields: international relations, political science, communication, economics, finance, international development or other relevant technical fields
Work Experience: A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: public affairs, programme management, resource mobilization, external relations, finance or other relevant area
Experience working with International Financial Institutions is required
Skills: Required skills include diplomatic communication, negotiation, partnership development, policy analysis, resource mobilization, and strategic engagement
Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required
Desirables
Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset
Experience implementing projects financed by the IFIs is an asset
Demonstrated experience in high-level negotiation & diplomacy, development finance, strategic advisory, senior government engagement, donor stewardship is considered an advantage
Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts
