What you bring
Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Public Health, Nutrition, Epidemiology, Social Sciences, or a closely related field
Proven, documented experience in designing and leading complex, national-level health or nutrition assessments, preferably involving regulatory compliance monitoring
In-depth, specialized knowledge of Maternal, Infant, and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN) programmes, the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes, and Kenya's national BMS regulatory framework
Strong proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis methodologies, with experience using statistical software and digital data collection platforms (e.g., KoboToolbox)
Excellent professional report writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Extensive experience working within the Kenyan public health context and familiarity with the national health system architecture
Demonstrated professional integrity, with no current or historical conflicts of interest with the pre-packaged complementary food or breast-milk substitute industry
