Diploma or degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade or a related field.
Minimum three years' practical experience in procurement, imports and customs clearance in Kenya.
Strong working knowledge of the Duty Remission Scheme, Kenya Revenue Authority customs procedures, Import Declaration Forms, customs entries and import documentation.
Experience working with clearing agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines and regulatory authorities.
Good understanding of International Commercial Terms, import lead times and shipping documentation.
Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems, Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail, record management, communication and follow-up skills.
Experience in the chemical, agricultural or another regulated industry will be an added advantage.
