Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Geospatial Engineering, Surveying and Mapping, Civil Engineering Surveying, or a closely related discipline
Professional body membership or license is an asset
Minimum 5 years of practical surveying experience in civil works, roads, irrigation, agriculture, industrial construction, water infrastructure, or large land-development projects
At least 3 years of hands-on site setting out, level tracking, and quantity measurements
Advanced proficiency with Total Station, RTK/GNSS GPS, digital levels, handheld GPS, and field data collectors
Professional competence in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, QGIS/ArcGIS, and survey processing software
Demonstrated ability to manage field data, guide engineering teams and contractors, and supervise survey assistants or field crews in remote, high-temperature construction settings
Strong capability in reading drawings, profiles, specifications, BOQs, and interpreting construction tolerances
Ability to maintain strict measurement logs
Valid driver's license with readiness to operate in remote farm terrain
Training in Project Management, Contract Administration, HSE, or construction supervision is an asset
