Academic and Professional Qualifications and Knowledge
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Financial Management or a related discipline.
Master's degree is an added advantage.
Professional Certification in related IT related fields, such as CGEIT, COBIT, CISM, ITIL, PMP or an equivalent recognised certification is required.
Additional certification in IT, Financial Management, Procurement or Contract Management, will be an added advantage.
Years and Nature of Experience
At least ten (10) years of relevant working experience in IT Planning and Partner Governance in an environment of similar scale and complexity with at least three (3) years in a senior leadership/management role within central banking, financial services, government, telecommunications or regulatory institutions.
Experience in people management skills, conflict management & resolution skills and negotiations skills.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Advanced Stakeholder Management expertise.
Strong Project Management, process and technical knowledge.
Strong knowledge of industry-standard methodologies and IT delivery approaches.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple assignments and employees simultaneously.
Advanced understanding of IT Infrastructure (design and operations).
Advanced Financial knowledge and Business Acumen.
Advanced understanding and knowledge of IT Project Management, Strategic Planning and Budgeting process.
Hands-on/proven experience in a similar role in IT Planning/Financial Governance & Vendor Management, coupled with a working knowledge of IT Contracts.
