Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field.
Certification in any of the following: CCNA, CCNP-Security, CEH, CISA, CISM, or any other information security-related course.
Microsoft Windows and Linux/Unix Operating Systems.
Networking certifications: CCNA/CCNP/CCSP/CCIE.
At least 3 years' experience in the following areas: IT User Support, Microsoft Windows, Linux/Unix Operating Systems, IT networks, and network protocols such as TCP/IP, Syslog, DNS, NetFlow, etc.
Knowledge and experience in Programming (shell, Python scripting, etc.), and web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, PHP, etc. (added advantage).
Knowledge and experience in Routing, switching, and networking (added advantage).
