Academic and Professional Qualifications and Knowledge
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Any Core Banking Training Done touching on the below areas will be an added advantage: Internet Banking, Core Banking Platforms, Payment Systems, Artificial Intelligence.
Years and Nature of Experience
At least five (5) years' experience in a T24/Infinity/Financial Systems production support environment as an administrator/consultant.
At least 5 years' experience in UNIX System Administration specific to IBM AIX.
At least 3 years' experience in IBM WMQ, IBM Websphere Administration.
At least 3 years' experience in Oracle Database Administration.
Core Competencies Required for the Role
Thorough understanding of T24/Infinity/Financial Market applications and all system administration tasks involved in maintaining a T24/Infinity/Financial Market environment.
Experience with Unix scripting, jbase programming, PL/SQL and XML SQL.
Experience with installation of IBM WMQ, IBM Websphere, and Tomcat.
Knowledge of IBM Websphere and MQ Integration with T24.
Experience with solid backup and recovery standards.
Good understanding of a UNIX operating system and multi-tier application architecture.
Knowledge and experience of change management and systems best practices.
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high-pressure on-call environment with changing priorities.
A team player, possessing excellent communication, presentation, analytical, planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Should be open-minded and a change champion.
Mature person with proven integrity, initiative and drive.
Ability to think strategically with creative problem-solving skills.
