At least fifteen (15) years relevant work experience, five (5) of which must be in a senior management level
Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Maritime Studies, Maritime Law, Marine Engineering, Economics, Finance, Commerce, Corporate Governance or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Master's degree in any of the following disciplines: Maritime Studies, Maritime Law, Marine Engineering, Economics, Finance, Commerce, Corporate Governance or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Membership to a relevant professional body
Certificate in Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
Demonstrated experience in strategic leadership, corporate governance, financial management, and stakeholder engagement
Meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya
