Education
High school diploma or GED is required.
Associate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
Experience
At least two (2) years of experience in at least two or more HR functions (e.g., staffing, performance management, employee relations, benefits, onboarding, compliance, training, or payroll).
Two (2) years of administrative experience, including document control and record-keeping.
One (1) year of experience working with a multi-national workforce with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and rapidly changing priorities.
Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and to address employee needs effectively.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong critical thinking, report development, and problem-solving skills with proven attention to detail and accuracy.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) data entry systems and tools.
Proficiency with everyday tools (email, data retrieval, voicemail, and internet/intranet platforms).
Language Skills
Strong English proficiency for effective written and verbal communication as required for employee relations, reporting, and adherence to safety, health, and security protocols.
Other
Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive personnel and company information.
Ability to monitor and ensure consistent compliance with company and governmental policies regarding HR practices.
Must be in possession of a valid passport and able to travel internationally.
Passport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
Ability to successfully meet contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout the duration of deployment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
Employees must read, speak, and comprehend English to the extent that they can perform the contract requirements and comply with installation emergency procedures.
Ability to obtain country-specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout the duration of deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a diverse workforce is preferred.
A valid driver's license to legally operate a motor vehicle.
Country visa (as required in line with U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).
SHRM or HRCI certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
Previous experience in government or military contracting environments, specifically in HR/ER roles.
Solid understanding of labor laws and HR processes in multiple countries or military-regulated environments.
