A Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Community Development Studies or a related social science discipline.
A valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued within the last six months.
At least three years of relevant work experience, preferably in a non-governmental organisation.
Knowledge and experience in child and youth safeguarding.
Proven ability to conceptualise, innovate and manage programmes.
Ability to establish mutually beneficial partnerships with communities, government departments, civil society organisations and corporate organisations.
Experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation and representation skills.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and relevant databases.
Strong organisational, analytical, planning, prioritisation and programme-reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure, make decisions and manage multiple responsibilities.
A practical, decisive and results-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
For positions in Bungoma, Turkana and Kilifi, female applicants and candidates who speak the relevant local dialect will have an added advantage.
