Earned PhD or equivalent qualification, or Master's degree in special cases, in Medical Laboratory Science, Molecular Medicine, Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline from an accredited and recognized university.
At least 3 years' teaching experience at university level as a Lecturer OR 6 years' research/industry experience.
Minimum 24 publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, with at least 12 from refereed scholarly journals.
Supervised at least 2 Master's students to completion as a Lecturer OR 1 PhD or equivalent.
Registered member of the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
Current KMLTTB practising licence.
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
