Frontier Market Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of African FX markets, including the nuances of navigating illiquid currencies and parallel market dynamics.
P&L Management: Experience owning a revenue target and managing the risk/reward balance of a trading book.
Extreme Ownership: A startup-ready mentality. You don't wait for instructions; you identify market gaps and build the infrastructure to fill them.
Nice to have requirements
Deep Network: An existing "rolodex" of liquidity providers, central bank contacts, and potential B2B clients across Africa and Asia.
Tech-Forward: Experience with automated trading systems, API-driven FX pricing, or stablecoin/crypto-settlement (USDC/USDT) as a liquidity tool.
Advanced Certification: CFA, CAIA, or a Master's degree in a quantitative financial field.
