Cumulative service period of nine (9) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Driver I or in a comparable position.
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D or its equivalent.
Valid Class BCE driving licence, free from any endorsement.
Defensive Driving Certificate from a recognised institution.
Occupational Trade Test Grade I for drivers.
First Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from St John Ambulance, the Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT), or any other recognised institution.
Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police Service.
Attended a refresher course for drivers lasting not less than one (1) week within every three (3) years at the Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognised institution.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
