Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Human Rights, Law, Peace and Conflict Studies, Political Science, Sociology, Community Development, International Relations, Public Administration or a related discipline.
At least three (3) years of relevant experience in programme implementation, human rights, governance, peacebuilding, community development, advocacy, justice or related work.
NGO or development-sector experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with communities, civil society organisations, government institutions and other stakeholders.
Experience facilitating community dialogues, trainings, stakeholder forums and participatory processes.
Demonstrated ability to collect, analyse and document programme and community-level information.
Strong report-writing, documentation, communication, facilitation and stakeholder-engagement skills.
Understanding of human rights, constitutional governance, accountability, access to justice, peace and security, civic participation and community resilience.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight timelines.
Proficiency in English and Kiswahili.
Knowledge of relevant local languages is an added advantage.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned counties and undertake field-based work.

Established relationships and networks with communities and relevant county-level stakeholders.
Experience working with youth, women, marginalised communities and grassroots organisations.
Experience in human rights monitoring, documentation, advocacy, research or evidence generation.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate field evidence into programme and advocacy action.
Commitment to constitutionalism, human rights, accountability, inclusion and community-led development.
