Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including law firms, civil society organizations, bar associations, and community partners.
Experience working with civil society organizations, pro bono initiatives, or public interest law programmes in East Africa.
Degree in Law is strongly preferred. Degrees in Political Science, International Relations, Social Sciences, or related disciplines will also be considered.
Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the nonprofit, public interest law, or international development sector.
Strong interest in public interest law, access to justice, civic space, and human rights.
Excellent project coordination, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong research, analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, multicultural environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Must be based in East Africa to allow for real-time coordination and team check-ins.
