French language fluency at C1 minimum - written and spoken. You will draft proposals, lead demonstrations, and communicate with clients in French daily
Strong English communication - all internal reporting, leadership updates, and cross-team coordination are conducted in English
Proven experience in bid, tender, RFP, RFQ, and RFI preparation with direct ownership of the full submission process
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pricing models, trackers), Word (bilingual proposal formatting), and PowerPoint (presentations and demos)
Hands-on experience with a CRM system for pipeline and activity management - Zoho CRM experience is strongly preferred
Confidence and presence in client-facing settings including demonstrations, presentations, and POC reviews in both languages
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Telecommunications, Commerce, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a presales, bids, or commercial coordination role - ICT, technology, or enterprise solutions environment preferred
Experience conducting product demonstrations or supporting POC engagements in a technology context is a strong advantage
Familiarity with Francophone African procurement environments - OHADA legal frameworks, donor-funded processes (World Bank, UNDP), or government tendering in DRC, Senegal, or Ivory Coast
Sales or account management background is a meaningful advantage

Outspoken, confident, and commercially energetic - comfortable leading client meetings and demonstrations in French without prompting
Culturally aware and adaptable across different Francophone markets - understands that DRC, Senegal, and Ivory Coast require different commercial approaches
Highly organised and deadline-driven with the ability to manage multiple concurrent bids across multiple markets
Proactive self-starter who identifies opportunities and drives engagement independently across a remote, distributed team
Collaborative and dependable - sales reps in francophone markets rely on this person to deliver professional, accurate bilingual output on time
ADVANTAGEOUS
Direct lived or professional experience in DRC, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, or another Francophone African market
Existing relationships with enterprise banking or healthcare clients in Francophone Africa
Familiarity with donor-funded procurement processes (World Bank, UNDP, USAID, AFD)
