Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a lead dispatcher or emergency communications professional in a fire department or emergency response organization.
Certification as Telecommunications Operator I and II and Hazardous Materials Awareness, or equivalent recognized certifications.
Demonstrated knowledge of fire service operations, emergency medical dispatch, and fire alarm monitoring systems.
Experience operating Computer Aided Dispatch systems, radio communications equipment, and emergency communications technology.
Strong leadership, organizational, and supervisory skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
Passport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
Ability to obtain country-specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout the duration of deployment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
Must read, speak, and comprehend English to the extent that they can perform the contract requirements and comply with installation emergency procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce.
Valid country driver's license.
Experience supporting government, military, or Department of Defense emergency communications operations.
Experience managing an emergency communications center or fire dispatch operation.
