Be a citizen of Kenya.
Have served in the grade of Assistant Director, Human Resource Management, for a minimum period of three years.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Alternatively, hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Sociology, Business Administration, Public Administration or Commerce, together with a postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Hold a Master's degree in Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Have undertaken a leadership course lasting not less than six weeks or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Be registered with the Institute of Human Resource Management.
Hold a valid practising licence.
Demonstrate merit and ability through work performance and results.
