Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a Diploma from a specialized technical institute is required.
Experience: A minimum of seven to ten (7-10) years of progressive experience in drafting and detailing for residential, industrial, and high-rise building projects.
BIM Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in BIM modeling and coordination.
Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency is mandatory in AutoCAD, Revit (Structure), and Navisworks.
Awareness of Civil 3D, CADS RC, or structural analysis software (e.g., Prota Structure) is a distinct advantage.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction methodologies reinforced concrete detailing rules (e.g., standard hooks, laps), and structural steel sections.
