2+ years producing SEO-optimized blog and web content in English, with a portfolio of published work.
Hands-on experience directing an AI writing platform — Copy.ai, Jasper, Writer, ChatGPT or similar — as a working part of a paid content workflow, writing your own prompts.
Demonstrated copy editing ability on AI-generated drafts, including verifying sources, checking that links resolve and support the claim, and cutting anything unverifiable.
Solid grasp of SEO fundamentals: keyword usage and placement, content structure, headings, internal linking and on-page best practices.
Native-level written English, with clean grammar and controlled tone for a US audience.
Experience building content outlines from keyword research, in Semrush or an equivalent platform.
Reliable with deadlines inside a defined turnaround window, and proactive in communicating when something is at risk.
Comfortable working asynchronously in a task-managed workflow, keeping your own tasks current without prompting.
Reliable internet, a working computer, and a quiet place to write.
