Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging Sciences, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Valid registration and current Practising Licence issued by the relevant professional regulatory authority.
Certification in Basic Life Support will be an added advantage.
Minimum two years' experience operating diagnostic X-ray equipment in a hospital, clinic, or diagnostic imaging facility.
Experience in Digital Radiography, Computed Radiography, PACS, and Radiology Information Systems.
Experience in trauma, emergency, theatre, and mobile radiography will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiographic procedures, radiation physics, radiation protection, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, infection prevention, quality assurance, and health and safety regulations.
Proficiency in operating diagnostic X-ray equipment, Digital Radiography, Computed Radiography, PACS, and Radiology Information Systems.
Competence in patient positioning, image quality optimization, routine equipment quality control, and basic troubleshooting.
Strong commitment to patient safety, radiation safety, and high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
High ethical and professional standards with integrity, accountability, and a patient-centred approach.
Excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and ability to work under pressure.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and on-call schedules where required.
