We are seeking a candidate who is confident, technically competent, highly accountable, and comfortable taking a hands-on approach to operational leadership. The ideal person should be able to establish structure, maintain discipline, anticipate operational challenges, and take initiative without requiring constant supervision.
While previous experience in the events industry would be advantageous, it is not mandatory. We are particularly keen to explore candidates from the construction industry who can bring strong systems, processes, and operational discipline into our business.
The successful candidate must be willing to be based in Diani and work flexible hours, including weekends, depending on project requirements.
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in construction project management, site operations, or a related technical field, with demonstrated supervisory experience.
Strong technical and operational background, preferably in construction, fit-outs, installations, or infrastructure-related projects.
Proven experience managing warehouses, equipment, inventory, logistics, and operational resources.
Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise multidisciplinary teams, including permanent staff, casual labourers, drivers, technicians, and external contractors.
Strong planning, budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, layouts, measurements, and project specifications.
Highly organised, proactive, decisive, and solution-oriented.
Strong leadership presence, with the ability to enforce accountability, discipline, and performance standards.
Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment with irregular working hours when required.
