Cumulative service period of eight (8) years' relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Senior Officer KSA Grade 5 or in a comparable position
Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Remote Sensing, Geographical Information Science, Geo-Spatial Engineering, Surveying, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Control and Instrumentation, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Master's degree in any of the following disciplines: Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Remote Sensing, Geographical Information Science, Geo-Spatial Engineering, Surveying, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Membership to the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK), Institute of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK) or any other recognized professional body where applicable
Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
Proficiency in computer applications
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
