Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from a recognized university or institution.
Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Business Administration, or a closely related postgraduate field is preferred.
Valid registration and current practicing license with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
Minimum 10 years of progressive nursing experience.
At least 3–5 years' experience in a senior nursing leadership role such as Director of Nursing, Head of Nursing, Senior Nursing Officer, or similar role within a complex, multi-shift, or high-volume healthcare environment.
Strong nursing leadership and clinical governance skills.
Deep understanding of infection prevention and control, risk management, and patient-centred healthcare operations.
Strong experience managing nursing workflows, patient throughput, and clinical excellence in an outpatient or ambulatory day-care setting.
Strong financial acumen in budgeting, workforce scheduling, and cost-containment strategies.
Data-driven decision-making ability with strong analytical and clinical problem-solving skills.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to oversee multi-shift, 24-hour nursing rotations, including weekends and public holidays.
Familiarity with SHA/NHIF, private medical insurance documentation, and pre-authorization processes.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Swahili.
High standards of professional integrity, clinical ethics, confidentiality, and accountability.
