Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, Film and Television Production, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
At least three years of relevant professional experience in multimedia production, preferably within a research, policy, international development, non-governmental or similar organization.
A strong portfolio demonstrating experience in video production, photography, graphic design, visual storytelling and digital content development.
Demonstrated experience managing video production from concept and scripting through filming, editing and final delivery.
Experience producing multimedia content for websites, social media, digital campaigns, webinars and live or hybrid events.
Experience translating research, data or technical information into accessible visual products is highly desirable.
Experience working with researchers, policymakers, development partners or diverse multicultural teams will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in relevant multimedia production and design applications, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Audition or comparable professional tools.
Proficiency in operating professional cameras, lighting, audio-recording and livestreaming equipment.
Strong video-editing, colour-correction, sound-editing, motion-graphics and post-production skills.
Knowledge of data visualization, information design, typography, colour theory and layout.
Familiarity with content-management systems, social media publishing tools and digital asset-management systems.
Ability to produce accessible multimedia content, including captions, subtitles, transcripts and appropriately formatted digital products.
Working knowledge of copyright, licensing, informed consent, data protection and ethical storytelling.
Familiarity with emerging multimedia technologies, including responsible applications of artificial intelligence in content production, will be an added advantage.
