Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Project Management certification is an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 7–10 years' experience managing heavy structural steel projects within the structural steel fabrication or construction industry.
Must have experience delivering projects such as factories, warehouses, industrial plants, commercial buildings, PVC Installations and other structural steel works.
Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, erection, and construction methodologies.
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, and multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to interpret structural and fabrication drawings.
Knowledge of structural steel fabrication processes, welding, erection, and quality control.
Good understanding of construction contracts, project planning, cost control, and risk management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project; experience with AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or similar software is an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
