10+ years of progressive supply chain experience in Kenya or East Africa, with at least 4 years leading procurement, warehousing, and logistics as an integrated function.
A background in high-volume, fast-moving product businesses – FMCG, food and beverage, dairy, edible oils, consumer goods manufacturing or distribution – known for tight cost control, working-capital discipline, and rigorous supply chain processes.
Hands-on experience with perishables and cold-chain distribution strongly preferred.
Deep, hands-on imports and customs expertise – running a country-specific import documentation process end to end (IDF, HS classification, duty and tax computation, KEBS/PVoC conformity, licensed clearing agents, and KRA iCMS entry) for consignments through Mombasa port and JKIA, with a proven record of controlling demurrage and clearance lead times.
Strong ERP-driven procure-to-pay discipline and a track record of clean audits.
Demonstrated success building, restructuring, and upskilling teams across multiple sites.
