Previous donor-sector proposal-writing experience is strongly preferred, particularly involving USAID, UN agencies, DFID/FCDO or foundations.
Applicants should state the funders they have previously written proposals for in their application.
Exceptional written English and demonstrated ability to write in US style for US audiences, rather than relying solely on British English or traditional donor-report conventions.
Strong research and information-synthesis skills.
Ability to work independently and consistently meet proposal deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling funder requirements and factual information.
Familiarity with AI-assisted writing tools is an advantage.
