Recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education, Childcare or related field, for example ECDE certificate or diploma, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience working with young children in Kindergarten and lower Primary.
Strong pedagogical approach and behaviour management.
Understanding of early childhood development.
Leadership experience with groups of children.
Open-minded, intuitive and hands-on working style.
Excellent social and communication skills.
Already have the legal right to work in Kenya, for example through Kenyan citizenship or a valid work permit.
Proven experience working with children and young people in a school, youth work, childcare, sport, education or community setting.
Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Confidence working with learners from Kindergarten to Upper Secondary, ages 3–18.
Commitment to safeguarding.
Ability to promote inclusion, wellbeing and positive behaviour.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook, with the ability to learn school management systems.
