Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by KMPDC.
Master of Medicine (MMed) in Internal Medicine plus formal Fellowship in Medical Oncology or equivalent specialist qualification.
Fully registered and licensed as a Specialist Medical Practitioner by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
Minimum 3–5 years' progressive post-specialist experience practicing as a Medical Oncologist within a busy tertiary hospital or dedicated private diagnostic oncology system.
Strong clinical competence in diagnosing and treating solid and hematologic malignancies.
Deep commitment to multidisciplinary patient care.
Excellent patient-centred communication and counselling skills.
Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management ability.
Analytical and data-driven approach to treatment outcomes, safety risks, and clinical performance.
Ability to manage systemic anti-cancer treatments within outpatient infusion and day-care clinic models.
Familiarity with oncology protocols, pre-authorization pathways, SHA oncology packages, and private corporate insurance processes.
High level of professionalism, empathy, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
Fluency in written and spoken medical English and Swahili.
