Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in graphic design, with proven videography and photography skills.
A portfolio showing print and digital design (reports, profiles, infographics, social media), edited video and photography. Shortlisted candidates will complete a practical design and editing test.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or DaVinci Resolve) for video editing and motion graphics.
Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom for photo editing and Canva for templates used by non-designers.
Working knowledge of DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting and audio recording equipment.
Sound understanding of brand guidelines and child safeguarding principles in visual content.
Required Education, Training, License, Registration, and Certification
Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film Production, Communications or a related field.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Motion graphics and animation skills in Adobe After Effects.
Drone videography and photography with a valid KCAA license.
Familiarity with Figma or Adobe Express for quick digital layouts.
Strong creative eye, attention to detail and ability to deliver to brief under tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team, with willingness to travel across Kenya.
