Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field from a recognized institution
Professional certification or membership with a relevant body (e.g., Institute of Clerk of Works, Engineers Board of Kenya, or equivalent)
Minimum five (5) years work experience in supervision of large-scale construction projects
Thorough understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities
Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, statutory and regulatory requirements with emphasis on storage for HPTs
Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements on construction sites
Ability to monitor construction quality, materials, and workmanship against approved standards
Technical competencies: Record keeping, Report writing, Supervision of construction projects for pharma-grade warehouses, MS Office and knowledge of project management software (MS Project Primavera) are added advantages
Behavioural attributes: High level of integrity, strong communication and interpersonal skills, keen attention to detail and commitment of quality, ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
