Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
A relevant master's degree is an added advantage.
CPA(K), ACCA or an equivalent recognized professional accountancy qualification, with membership in good standing of the relevant professional body and compliance with applicable Kenyan professional requirements.
At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior finance leadership.
Strong manufacturing or FMCG experience, including costing, inventory and commercial finance, is required.
Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, Kenyan tax compliance, treasury, budgeting, audits and internal controls; experience supporting multiple legal entities is an advantage.
Strong Sage X3 ERP, spreadsheet and financial modelling capability, with experience improving finance processes and management reporting.
Strategic and commercial judgement, financial analysis, integrity and confidentiality, sound risk assessment, clear Board-level communication, constructive challenge, team leadership, collaboration and accountability for delivery.
