At least 1–2 years of production experience using Go; alternatively, strong production backend experience in another programming language combined with substantial demonstrable Go work.
Strong practical knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL, particularly indexing strategies, transactions, database migrations and query performance.
Experience deploying and supporting applications in a real production environment.
Practical understanding of logs, monitoring, deployment processes and production incident response.
Strong written English and ability to communicate effectively in a remote, asynchronous working environment.
Candidates relying on substantial Go project experience should be prepared to provide a GitHub portfolio demonstrating their work.
