Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent (Mandatory)
Formal training or certification in general agriculture, or equivalent hands-on experience in agriculture or community-based training (Mandatory)
Minimum of 3 years' practical experience in farming or agricultural extension, preferably working with rural farming communities (Mandatory)
Basic knowledge of crop production, soil and water conservation, and integrated pest management practices (Mandatory)
Willingness and ability to reside and work in Migori County for a minimum of one year (Mandatory)
Strong ability to communicate agricultural concepts clearly in a simple, engaging, and culturally appropriate manner (Mandatory)
Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team (Mandatory)
Demonstrates professionalism, ethical conduct, competence, accountability, and integrity while upholding organizational mission and vision (Mandatory)
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask with flexibility in a dynamic work environment (Mandatory)
Passionate about agriculture (especially vegetable production) and capable of working efficiently under pressure (Mandatory)
Experience training smallholder farmers, women groups or youth in agriculture will be an added advantage (Added Advantage)
