Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2–4 years' experience in rail freight coordination, logistics operations, or multimodal transport environments.
Prior experience working with organizations such as Kenya Railways or similar rail systems will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of wagon types, rail operations, including shunting procedures, and rail documentation processes.
Proven experience in handling cargo claims, loss/damage reconciliation, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders (internal teams, customers, and rail operators).

Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across internal teams, customers, and external partners.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities, ensuring seamless information flow and operational efficiency.
High attention to detail, particularly in verification, documentation accuracy, and reconciliation processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications, as well as experience with logistics and ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and tight deadlines.
Solid understanding of rail safety standards and regulatory requirements within rail transport operations.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required for operational coordination.
