A master's degree or equivalent experience in refugee and migration studies, international development, education, social sciences, humanities, public policy, or another relevant field.
Demonstrated experience applying qualitative research methods and supporting research projects from design through to dissemination.
Experience in project coordination and management, with excellent organisational skills and timeline management.
Experience providing individualised support to learners through training, mentorship, teaching, and/or supervision.
Experience delivering a variety of educational content, materials, and activities for learners.
Commitment to the RLRH mission of enabling refugee leadership in research.
Strong understanding of all stages of the qualitative research process, and experience in facilitating research training and providing editorial support.
Familiarity with displacement-related topics and prior experience working with displaced people.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with experience working across diverse teams.
Experience in community engagement activities, particularly in Kenya and/or East Africa.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, analysis, and report writing.
Excellent cultural competency and cultural humility.
Ability to work independently, prioritise own workload, and work flexibly as part of a team.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Desirable Selection Criteria
Published writing (academic or grey literature).
Academic and/or professional experience with quantitative research methods.
Proficiency in data visualisation.
Experience in content development for websites and social media.
Experience in disseminating research findings through presentations, events and stakeholder engagement.
Experience working across multiple regions, particularly in LMIC contexts.
