Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Cooperation, Engineering, Agriculture or equivalent disciplines.
At least 5 years of experience as a project coordinator or technical coordinator in similar organizations, preferably in emergency contexts and/or in agriculture and rural development.
Possession of a valid Kenyan motorcycle riding licence, minimum Class A2, and proven ability and willingness to ride a motorcycle in rural and remote areas is considered an asset.
Excellent knowledge of English; knowledge of the Pokot language is considered an asset.
Excellent knowledge of the project cycle (Project Cycle Management – PCM).
Excellent command of the Microsoft Office package.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and consistently.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify critical issues and effective solutions.
Strong inclination towards teamwork, with the ability to collaborate constructively and foster a positive working environment focused on the achievement of objectives.
Solid analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyse and synthesize information to support decision-making processes.
Previous work experience with CEFA and/or AICS is considered an asset.
