5 or more years of experience across private client accounting and small business bookkeeping
Demonstrated experience with product-based businesses — inventory management, COGS tracking, and gross margin analysis
Comfortable managing multiple entities simultaneously with full accountability for accuracy and timeliness across the portfolio
Technical Skills
Strong BAS and GST knowledge — Australian tax compliance experience is highly preferred; candidates without this background must demonstrate a clear ability and commitment to upskill quickly
Proficiency in Xero — this is the primary accounting platform across the portfolio
Tech-savvy and comfortable across Google Workspace, cloud document management, and digital collaboration tools
Experience with trust structures, investment income tracking, and multi-entity financial consolidation is a significant advantage
