Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Professional certification in logistics or supply chain management is an added advantage.
Minimum of 5–8 years' experience in logistics, materials management, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations, preferably within the oil & gas, energy, mining, or large infrastructure sectors.
Experience managing logistics contracts and third-party logistics providers.
Strong understanding of customs clearance processes, import/export regulations, and international freight operations.
Experience operating in remote or challenging operational environments is desirable.
Strong logistics planning, transportation coordination, and freight management skills.
Knowledge of International Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) recommended practices and their application in company procedures with respect to land transport, lifting management, aviation operations and materials management is required.
Knowledge of customs clearance, import/export regulations, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience managing logistics contracts, vendors, and third-party service providers.
Proficiency in materials management, warehouse operations, inventory control, and material yard coordination.
Effective stakeholder management and ability to coordinate across multiple internal and external parties.
Strong problem-solving, risk assessment, analytical, and organizational skills.
Good understanding of HSE standards, transport safety, and journey management requirements.
Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
