CPA qualification and equivalent accounting degree, with 5+ years of experience in finance or ERP implementation
Hands-on experience configuring and implementing ERP or financial management software
Experience running or supporting discovery workshops, user acceptance testing, and go-live processes
Data migration experience - extracting and transforming financial data from Xero, MYOB, or other accounting platforms using Excel, CSV tooling, or scripting
Basic understanding of API concepts - what an API does, how data moves between systems, and when to involve a developer
Understanding of construction accounting - WIP schedules, retentions, job costing, progress claims, and subcontractor management
Experience designing complex financial system configurations, not just basic bookkeeping setups
Strong documentation skills - you produce clear specs and handover notes that the next person can act on without asking questions
Able to communicate financial system concepts clearly to CFO-level stakeholders, not just technical teams
Experience working with or for international or multinational organisations is a strong advantage
