Proven estimating experience in the construction industry (restoration and/or general contracting preferred)
Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Hands-on experience performing digital takeoffs and building detailed cost estimates
Experience sourcing and comparing quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
Excellent written communication and organizational skills
Able to work Monday–Friday, 9–5 US time, with reliable internet and a suitable home-office setup
Technical: Digital takeoff tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar)
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets
Strong understanding of labor, material, equipment, and overhead cost components
Communication: Clear, concise writing; professional etiquette via email, Slack, and Zoom; proactive follow-ups
Workstyle: Detail-oriented, highly organized, deadline-driven, and adaptable to shifting scopes and addenda
Mindset: Analytical problem solver with a continuous improvement approach and ownership of outcomes
