Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in International Development, Community Development, Sociology/Social Work, Human Rights, Gender Studies, or a related social sciences field.
Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in child protection, humanitarian response, safeguarding, GBV prevention, community development or social work.
Demonstrated experience working within ASAL, pastoralist, or cross-border humanitarian contexts is highly desirable.
Experience supporting vulnerable children, survivors of trafficking, unsafe migration, displacement or harmful traditional practices will be an added advantage.
Strong familiarity with local community structures and dynamics within the Moyale–Moyale, Forole–Maikona or Sololo–Mio corridors.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English; knowledge of local language (Oromo) is an asset.
Ability to prioritize own workload and work with minimal supervision.
Be a team player.
Must be a resident from the specific location.
