Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
CPA (K) qualification required; full certification preferred.
ACCA qualification is an added advantage.
Work Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and general ledger management.
Prior experience working in a fintech company, bank, or investment firm is required.
Strong understanding of Kenyan tax laws, IFRS, and statutory reporting requirements.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial modelling and data analysis.
Knowledge of IFRS and Kenyan statutory accounting standards.
Familiarity with the KRA iTax platform and e-filing procedures.
